On the 9th of September, Mr. Nara Lokesh, the General Secretary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) was denied a visit to Narasaraopet, Andhra Pradesh.
The Andhra Pradesh Police tightened security at Gannavaram Airport amid Nara Lokesh’s visit. Due to this, tension prevailed at the airport, ahead of the TDP leader’s arrival from Hyderabad.
It is to be noted, the TDP Working President Mr. Nara Lokesh was scheduled to visit Narasaraopet Police Station and meet the family members of Ms. Anusha.

Leaders like Mr. A. Raja, Mr. Sattenapalli, Narasaraopet constituency in-charges Mr. Chadalawada Aravinda Babu, Mr. Kodela Sivaram, Gannavaram constituency in-charge Mr. Bachula Arjun and others were placed under house arrest.
