Prudhvi Raj, a Tollywood comedian and a leader of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP,) is expected to be appointed the Chairman of Sri Venkateswara Bhakthi Channel (SVBC.)
According to the sources, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) called Mr. Raj regarding the same.
The discussion regarding the Chairman’s post of the SVBC started after the post fell vacant due to the recent resignation of K. Raghavendra Rao.
Prudhvi Raj is said to be selected due to his popularity and contribution towards the YSRCP’s campaign during the Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
Prudhvi joined the YSRCP during YS Jagan’s Praja Sankalpa Yatra in West Godavari district and raised his voice in support of the Party. He also supported the ideologies of the YSRCP and worked for the Jagan Mohan Reddy led YSRCP.
However, an official announcement regarding the appointment is yet to be made.
