After being arrested, the accused in the Delhi’s Sakshi Murder Case, confessed his crimes.

On the 30th of May, Tuesday, the Delhi Police nabbed twenty year old Sahil, the man behind the brutal murder of sixteen year old Sakshi.  According to the police, Sahil, after committing the crime, got rid of his knife, took a bus and fled to Bulandshahar in Uttar Pradesh.

The Delhi Police team interrogated Sahil and asked about his crime, following which he confessed killing Sakshi.  In addition, after the gruesome killing, he showed no sign of regret and said, he has absolutely no regret of whatever he did.  He further said, he was planning Sakshi’s murder since two weeks and purchased a knife to commit the crime.

Speaking of his motto, Sahil said, Sakshi and he were close friends, but they had a quarel, following  which Sakshi asked Sahil to stay away from her.  She even threatened him with a toy gun and warned Sahil.

However, on the 28th of May, after a quarrel, Sahil killed Sakshi.  He found the victim in Shahbad Dairy area of Delhi, pushed her against the wall and then mercilessly stabbed her to death.  Later, he smashed Sakshi’s face with a huge rock, available on the roadside.

As per the postmortem reports of Sakshi, she has had 34 stab injuries and her skull was raptured in pieces brutally.

The incident was reported after a video of the incident went viral on social media, in which Sahil was seen stabbing Sakshi, whereas many people were just mute preprators to the whole crime scene.

The Delhi Police has registered a case against Sahil under section 307 (Murder) of the Indian Penal Code.  He has been taken for 2 days judicial custody, following which Sahil would be produced before a trial court.

Meanwhile, the parents of Sakshi are diseartended to the death of their daughter and demanded strict capital punishment (death) for the accused.
