TDP Leader Nagul Meera Clears Rumours, Says Will Not Quit TDP

Nagul Meera, a member of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) on the 19th of February, rubbished all rumours of quitting the Party. 

Since a few days, a video message with the information that Nagul Meera is going to join the opposition Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP.)  In the message, it was mentioned that Mr. Nagul would join the YSRCP either on the 27th of February or the 28th of February.

However, finally Mr. Nagul put an end to it and clarified that he has no intention of quitting the TDP. 

Nagul Meera released a video message to the media condemning rumours of quitting the TDP. 

The reason behind the rumours is ongoing issues with Kesineni Nani, the Member of the Parliament (MP) of Vijayawada and a member of the TDP.

He said he would not quit the TDP under any circumstances. Nagul Meera stated that he and TDP MLC Buddha Venkanna have opened the party offices in two divisions in Vijayawada.

 Nagul Meera and Venkanna are against excess interference of the MP in selection of candidates for municipal corporation elections.
