the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Kalyanamastu application submission would start on the 1st of July, Friday.
According to sources, the TTD officials said that applications would be received from today till the 20th of July. Interested people could submit their applications for the wedding registration under the TTD’s welfare scheme, Kalyanamastu would, to the collector, the Revenue District Officer (RDO,) and MRO offices in all district centers across Andhra Pradesh.
Notably, earlier, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) announced the dates of a unique free mass marriages program, known as Kalyanamastu. On the 18th of June, the TTD Executive Officer (EO) Mr. A.V. Dharma Reddy announced the schedule of Kalyanamastu to be the 7th of August, 2022. The program of free marriage, for which the expenses would be borne by the TTD, would happen in all the 26 district headquarters of Andhra Pradesh.
Furthermore, the TTD Board said, the weddings would be conducted at an auspicious Muhurtham between 8:07 A.M., and 8:17 A.M., on the 7th of August.
The mass wedding is a welfare scheme, launched to help poor and underprivileged people to get their daughters married, without money. The TTD authority organizes the mass wedding preparations and is performing the welfare activity since 2007.
