Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) is all set to implement the YSR Vasathi Deevana welfare scheme.

Under the YSR Vasathi Deevana scheme, the State Government is going to distribute houses and lands to the lesser advantaged people, registered under the scheme.

The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government would distribute 25 lakh houses and house sites on Ugadi day in Andhra Pradesh. 

The A.P., CM himself would distribute housing cards to the beneficiaries on the special occasion of Ugadi.  The houses would be constructed and built by year 2024.

On the 6th of March, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, even conducted a meeting with Cherukuvada Sriranganadha Raju, the Minister for Housing, Ajay Jain, the Principal Secretary of Housing Minister and J. Syamala Rao, the Municipal Administration, Urban Development secretary  of A.P., regarding the housing scheme. The meeting was held on the evening of the 6th of March, at the Tadepalli camp office.

The houses distributed to people would be a one BHK with a veranda and a toilet.   The colonies would have proper drainage systems, water facilities, electricity and eco friendly environment with saplings.

Approximately 30 lakh families would benefit from the welfare scheme on the occasion of Ugadi, the 25th of March.
