YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, on the 15th of September, asked the official to complete the construction of the statue of Dr BR Ambedkar.
Mr. Reddy directed the concerned authority to begin the construction during a review meeting.
The construction of the statue of the Constitution maker Dr. Ambedkar was scheduled to begin in November and finish within 13 months.
In addition, Mr. Jagan also reviewed the park development master plan and setting up a 125 foot Ambedkar statue at the BR Ambedkar Swaraj Maidan in Vijayawada.
Representatives of various organizations presented various models of the statue.
In addition to the statue, issues related to the construction of the park were explained through a PowerPoint presentation by the concerned officials.
Mr. Reddy also discussed the park connectivity from NG Road to be beautifully landscaped.
