Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) on the 18th of October, conducted a review meeting with the Health Department of Andhra Pradesh.
The meeting was scheduled at the AP Secretariat in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh. Officials of the Health Department and members of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Y.S. Jagan reviewed the medical situation in Andhra Pradesh and took several key decisions.
Some of the decisions taken during the meeting were:
- To add medical bills extending beyond Rs. 1,000 under the YSR Aarogyasri scheme.
- A brief report regarding the development of new medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
- Development of infrastructure and other facilities like hostels at medical colleges.
- Utilization of National Health Mission funds.
The YSRCP Government, after coming to power, launched several welfare schemes for the citizens of Andhra Pradesh.
