Andhra Pradesh Novel Coronavirus cases are on a rise with more than 3,000 new cases on a regular basis. In the past few days, the State has been witnessing a rise in the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 cases.
In the past 24 hours, the State reported 4,157 new COVID-19 cases, 1,606 recoveries and 18 deaths.
The new single day spike was reported through a daily media bulletin, released on the evening of the 14th of April, Chittoor district has been witnessing more deaths in the last week. In addition, East Godavari also reported 617, followed by 522 in Srikakulam, 517 in Chittoor, 434 in Guntur, 417 in Visakhapatnam, 386 in Kurnool, 297 Anantapur, 276 Nellore, 230 Prakasam, 154 Vizianagaram, 135 Krishna, 112 Kadapa and 60 in West Godavari.
With this, Andhra Pradesh has 9,01,327, of which active cases stand at 28,383, recoveries stand at 8,98,432 and 7,339 deceased cases.
In addition, the State has so far conducted 1.56 crore tests including 35,732 tests in the last twenty four hours.
Meanwhile, the State received 4.40 Covishield and 2 lakh COVAXIN doses on the 13th of April and the process of vaccination picked up its momentum on Wednesday, the 14th of April.
