Andhra Pradesh has reported 264 new cases of the Wuhan virus (COVID-19,) taking the total active cases to 2,175.
On the 24th of November, Wednesday, the Telugu State reported 264 new cases, 1 death and 247 recoveries. The cases were confirmed through a health bulletin released on Wednesday evening.
According to the media bulletin, the cases were confirmed after conducting 31,987 sample tests for the Wuhan virus. With this, the State conducted a total of 3,02,55,677 tests till date.
In addition, of the total 264 new cases, the highest were from East Godavari and Krishna district with 46 and 45 cases, respectively. The lowest cases were reported from Kurnool with 3 new cases. Of the total 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh, only 5 reported new cases in single digits, whereas 8 districts had new cases in double digits.
With this, Andhra Pradesh has 20,71,831 positive cases, of which 20,55,226 are recovered cases, 2,175 are active cases and 14,430 are deceased cases.
