The Health Minister, Eatala Rajender on Thursday urged the general public, especially those above 45 years, to make use of the free Covid vaccines that are available at all the government hospitals.
In a review meeting on the ongoing vaccination drive, Rajender stressed that getting vaccinated was the only way to stop the Covid pandemic.
“Till today, we were providing vaccines only at teaching hospitals and institutions attached to Vaidya Vidhan Parishad. However, from Thursday, all government hospitals are providing the vaccination facility. I urge the public to make use of the facility and get vaccinated,” he said.
The Minister said that the general must ensure Covid appropriate behavior including extensive use of masks, physical distancing, avoiding mass gatherings and hand hygiene. Rajender is also reviewing the situation of Covid in Telangana along with Superintendents and other senior health officials on Thursday
