On the night of the 11th of October, Telangana recorded 1,021 new Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 cases and 6 fatalities.
Of the total new cases, highest were recorded from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) accounted for 228 of the 1,021 fresh cases, followed by Medchal Malkajgiri (84), Rangareddy (68), Karimnagar (67.)
With this, the total number of cases stood at 2,13,084. Of the total, 24,514 are active cases, 1,87342 are recovered/discharged cases and 1,228 deceased.
As per the cumulatively, the number of samples tested was 35,77,261 including 96,111 tests per million population for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
The recovery rate in the state rose further to 87.91 per cent, while it was 86.2 per cent in the country, the bulletin said.
The case fatality rate in the state was 0.57 per cent, while it was 1.5 per cent at the national level.
