On the 13th of July, Telangana recorded a total of 1,269 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 cases reached 34,671 till the 13th of July.
While positive cases reached 34,671, death cases reached a total of 356. The number of discharged patients in the state was more than new cases recorded with 1,563 patients getting discharged from various hospitals.
In the last 24 hours, the State medical department conducted a total of 8,153 samples.
The State Health department official who wished to be anonymous said, “In case of samples testing positive, the result can be given in just two hours and the patient is sent to the hospital or quarantine as per her/ his condition. In cases of patients testing negative or if the patient has severe symptoms, an RT-PCR test is done on them.”
Telangana has a total of 34,671 positive cases, of which 11,833 are active cases, 22,482 are recovered/discharged and 356 deceased.
