With just two days of imposed lockdown, Telangana witnessed a dip in the daily cases of the Wuhan virus (Novel Coronavirus.) From the previous 6,000 cases, the State witnessed below 4,000 cases.
According to the Telangana Health Department released media bulletin, the State reported 3,816 fresh cases of the Wuhan virus. The death cases also reduced to 27 from previous 40 to 50 deaths and recoveries increased to 5,892 in the past 24 hours.
In addition, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has the highest number of cases amongst other districts. However, the numbers of the Wuhan virus cases reduced to 658 cases from the previous 1,000 cases.
With this, currently Telangana has 5,28,823 positive cases, of which 4,74,899 are recovered/discharged cases, 50,969 are active cases and 2,955 deceased cases.
Meanwhile, currently, Telangana State is under a strict lockdown till the 22nd of May. All activities are permitted to function only between 6 A.M. to 10:00 A.M.after which only medical shops are open.
