Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan, on the 8th of August, tested negative for the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
The news was confirmed by Abhishek Bachchan through his social media post.
The actor took to Twitter and said, “A promise is a promise!
This afternoon I tested Covid-19 NEGATIVE!!! I told you guys I’d beat this. 💪🏽 thank you all for your prayers for me and my family. My eternal gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff at Nanavati hospital for all that they have done. 🙏🏽 THANK YOU!”
Abhishek and his father, megastar Amitabh Bachchan were admitted to Nanavati hospital on the 11th of July, after being positive for the Novel Coronavirus.
On the 12th of July, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan were also tested positive for the virus.
After treatment, on the 27th of July, Ms. Aishwarya and Ms. Aaradhya tested negative and got discharged. Later, on the 3rd of August, Amitabh Bachchan also tested negative and was discharged.
Now, on the 8th of August, Abhishek Bachchan also came back home defeating the Novel Coronavirus.
