Black Buck Poaching Case: Salman Khan Gets Bail For Rs. 50,000

Salman Khan was given bail today after spending two nights in the Jodhpur Central Jail. On Thursday, the actor was sentenced to five years imprisonment in connection with the Black Buck poaching case.

The bail hearing began yesterday and the Judge pushed the bail order to Saturday. Salman’s lawyers stated the witnesses’ statement were faulty resulting in the Judge postponing the order to today.

Before the actor is released, his lawyers will have to finish the paperwork along with a bond of just Rs. 50,000. The actor has managed to evade justice for every crime committed by him. His lawyers have managed to accuse every witness of false claims.

A total of 28 witnesses took to the stand and made clear statements that should have prosecuted the actor for good. However, his stand as a celebrity seems to be more important than justice.

This flaw has been seen in the judicial system with multiple celebrities getting off scot free. Everyone remembers the hunk in the film Gangster, Shiney Ahuja who was accused of rape in 2009. The actor confessed to the crime but was soon acquitted while the victim was charged with perjury.

Once Salman was prosecuted on Thursday he was taken to the Jodhpur Central Jail. The Court heard statements from 28 witnesses including villagers from the area. The villagers stated they ran out of their houses when they heard the gunshots. The prime witnesses stated he chased the actor on a bike but Khan and the remaining got away.

Salman Khan stated the deer died of natural causes and he actually saved the animal that night. According to the star, he noticed a herd of Black Bucks and one was stuck in a bush. Khan then states he rescued the deer and gave it water to drink. This is not the first time Khan has got into trouble with the law. He was the prime accused in a hit and run case that killed one man. In 2015, he was cleared in the 2002 hit and run case due to lack of evidence.
