Bollywood Industry lost another talented actor Bikramjeet Kanwarpal.

Actor Bikramjeet Kanwarpal, who has been a part of many popular films, TV shows and web series on OTT platforms passed away on the 1st of May.

The fifty two year old actor was diagnosed with the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 infection and died due to its complications. He tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus and was admitted at the Seven Hills Hospital in Mumbai 10 days ago. Later, due to his health complications, he was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU.) He passed away at 5:00 A.M., on Saturday.

Bikramneet Kanwarpal was a retired Army officer and started his film career in 2003. He retired as Army Major 2002 and debuted in Page 3 (2003.) He wanted to be an actor and fulfilled his dream in his 40s.

Some of his projects are Rocket Singh: Salesman of the year, Aarakshan, Murder 2, 2 States, The Ghazi Attack and Don.

Besides movies, he also worked in daily soaps like Diya Aur Baati Hum, Dil Hi To Hai, Yeh Hai Chahatein. He also worked on the web series 24 with Anil Kapoor on Disney + Hotstar Original and on Special Ops, also on Disney+Hotstar .

The news of Bikramjeet Kanwarpal was announced by film director Vikram Bhatt on his social media platform. He posted a tweet, “Major Bikramjeet Kanwarpal passes away. Taken from us by the cruel pandemic. I have done a lot of films with him and this doesn’t get closer home. The days are turning into one long obituary and yet each life that we lose cannot be just a number. We cannot allow it to become a number. Each a special friend. May his soul rest in peace.”

Soon celebrities and TV stars like Ashoke Pandit, Vishal Dadlani, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Richa Chaddha, Rohit Bose Roy and others mourned the loss of the talented actor on Twitter.

The actor is survived by his parents and his last rites are scheduled to be held on the 1st of May.
