Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty was granted bail by the Bombay High Court (HC.)
On the 7th of October, the Bombay High Court (HC) granted bail to Ms. Chakraborty, who has been arrested over drugs related charges in the Sushant Singh Rajput death investigation.
However, her brother Showik Chakraborty’s bail has been rejected.
Both Rhea and Showik were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB.)
However, the High Court has set conditions for Rhea Chakraborty’s bail.
Deposit passport
Report every day for 10 days to Mumbai Police
Furnish bail bond of Rs. 1 lakh
Cannot leave country
Cannot meet with any other witnesses
Must inform Investigating Officer if she is going out of Greater Mumbai, give itinerary in advance
Report on the first Monday of every month before investigating agency, for six months
Attend all dates in court unless prevented by any reasonable cause
Not to tamper with evidence or investigation of the case
On the 14th of June, Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput allegedly committed suicide.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI,) Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the NCB are investigating the death .
The investigation is underway.
