Veteran actor Raj Kapoor’s wife, Krishna Raj Kapoor, died due to a cardiac arrest today. The sad death took place around 5 A.M.
The eldest member of the Kapoor family, Krishna Raj Kapoor passed away at the age of 87. The whole Kapoor family is deeply saddened by her sudden death.
Talking to media, Randhir Kapoor, the eldest son of Krishna Raj Kapoor, said, “My mother passed away around 5 A.M., today due to cardiac arrest…old age was another factor. We are deeply saddened by her demise.”
Rishi Kapoor’s and Neetu Kapoor’s daughter, Riddhima Kapoor, posted a picture on Instagram with her grandmother Krishna Raj Kapoor.
Many celebrities like Raveena Tandon, Madhur Bhandarkar, Soha Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Farah Khan, etc. took to Twitter to express their condolences to the Kapoor family on their loss.

The last rites of Krishna Raj Kapoor will be performed at the Chembur Crematorium in Mumbai.
