Bollywood, in the last few years, has seen an increase of method actors, who live the character and make us believe them to be real. Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Rajkummar Rao, Irrfan Khan and many others impressed us with their powerful performances.
Well, Rajkummar Rao yet again surprised us on Thursday morning with a twitter post shared about his upcoming role in Raabta. Rao plays a 324 year old man alongside Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon.
This is not the first time Rao is changing his appearance for a character. In a Bengali movie Ami Sairabanu, Rao essayed the role of a transgender woman and lived the part.
In the trailer of Raabta, no one apart from the production team knew that the bald tattooed man was Rajkummar. It is yet not known what is the importance of his character and why he plays a 324 year old man. Before being selected for the role, Rajkummar had to give 16 auditions and was totally worth it.

Rajkummar said, “I did this friendly appearance for Vijan Dinoo and Homi Adjania. It was too much fun and Dinoo gave me a lot of freedom to improvise the character. The thick prosthetic makeup took hours to put on and off and I would sweat profusely under the thick layers of makeup. It checked my patience a lot.”
Well, now all we can do is wait and see what magic Rajkummar makes from under the mask!
