Bollywood veteran Rishi Kapoor passed away at the age of 67, on the 30th of April in Mumbai.
The legendary actor passed away at H.N. Reliance Hospital in Mumbai, with his wife Neetu Kapoor and son Ranbir Kapoor by his side.
The actor was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and was in New York for a year for his treatment. Rishi Kapoor along with Neetu Kapoor came back to India in September 2019.
Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter and confirmed the news of his demise. Mr. Bachchan said, “T 3517 – He’s GONE .. ! Rishi Kapoor .. gone .. just passed away ..
I am destroyed !”
Born on the 4th of September 1952, Rishi Kapoor is a big name in the Bollywood industry. He started his acting career in 1973 with the film Bobby.
He won many awards for his acting in Hindi Cinema. His last award was the Filmfare Critics Award for best actor in 2011 for Do Dooni Chaar (2010.)
