An Indian Origin Australian resident Justin Narayan is the winner of MasterChef Australia Season 13. On the 13th of July, the finale of MasterChef Australia was aired and at the end of the episode, Justin Narayan was declared the winner.

With this incredible victory of Justin Narayan, social media users and Indians felt proud and posted congratulatory messages and posts for him. Justin clinched the trophy after defeating the other two finalists, Kishwar Chowdhury and Pete Campbell in the pressure test.

Besides the MasterChef Australia trophy, Justin Narayan took home a prize money of United State Dollar (U.S.D.,) 2,50,000 (Rs. 1.86 crores approximately.)

The MasterChef Australia also took to their official Instagram handle and announced Justin Narayan to be the winner. The post read, “We think it’s safe to say @justinnarayan”s mind is blown right now.”

Post victory, Justin Narayan gave a speech and said, “Huge thanks to the judges and other contestants. It was the best experience of my life.”

In the 13th season of MasterChef Australia, many Indian origin people took part. Apart from Justin Narayan, the show also featured another Indian-origin contestant Depinder Chhibber who was extremely popular with fans.

Kishwar Chowdhury, one of the other three finalists, had also created several Indian and Bengali dishes to impress judges during the show.

With this victory, Justin Narayan becomes the second Indian Origin to take the MasterChef Australia trophy home. Previously in 2018, Sashi Cheliah an Indian origin won the MasterChef Australia trophy.
