Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar’s most awaited film Laxmmi Bomb is released on the 9th of October.
The movie would be a Diwali treat as it is scheduled to release on the 9th of November.
The movie is set to be released on the OTT platform, Disney+Hotstar.
The movie Laxmmi Bomb is the remake of a Tamil blockbuster Muni 2: Kanchana.
The movie stars Akshay Kumar as Laxmmi, co starring Kiara Advani, Tusshar Kapoor, Sharad Kelkar and Ashwini Kalsekar.
The genre of the movie is the horror-comedy starring Akshay Kumar as lead character.
As per the released trailer, the movie’s plot revolves how a transgender ghost possesses Akshay Kumar and he starts to behave like one in front of the parents of Kiara Advani.
Bollywood celebrities and fans were in awe of the actor.
Actors like Varun Dhawan, Vivek Oberoi and other lauded Akshay Kumar’s performance and claimed that they are looking forward to a laugh.
This is the first time that Akshay Kumar will be seen essaying a transgender in a film.
Speaking about his role, Akshay Kumar said, “In 30 years, this is the most mentally intensive role. Never experienced it before. Credit for it goes to Lawrence sir. He introduced me to a version of me which I didn’t know existed. It was different from my other characters. Iska bolna, chalna action reaction maine kabhi portray nahi kiya.”
