Sachin: A Billion Dreams, is an upcoming 2017 Indian biographical film which has been declared Tax free by the Odisha government.
On 23 May 2017, State Finance Minister, Sashi Bhushan Behera said that the Entertainment Tax on the film has been relinquished.
Sachin: A Billion Dreams has been declared tax free in Kerala, Chhattisgarh and Odisha.
It is been scheduled to release on 26 May.
The movie captures Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar’s cricket and personal life in substantial detail and it reveals a few aspects of his life which nobody would have heard of or seen before. Sachin will be seen playing himself in this movie. Sachin: A Billion Dreams is shot in Marathi and Hindi. Dubs of this movie will be released in Telugu and Tamil. It is written and directed by James Erskine and produced by Ravi
Bhagchandka and Carnival Motion Pictures under 200 NotOut Productions. Sachin himself took a trip to London to promote the movie, being released on May 2016.
