The 69th Emmy Award Show was an exciting one for all the nominations as Game of Thrones was not eligible this year. This gave the opportunity to a number of shows to get credit for their talent.
The T.V., show that received the most limelight was The Handmaid’s Tale an original Hulu show starring Elisabeth Moss. The HBO show Big Little Lies was also given a lot of appreciation and Nicole Kidman bagged the best actress award for the show.
Stephen Colbert was hosting the event making the audience roll with laughter with his jokes on Game of Thrones‘ ineligibility and Trump’s accusation that the Emmys are rigged. He pulled off a brilliant show entertaining his audience till the very end.
