On the 5th of January, another tragedy has been witnessed in the Tollywood industry.
A leading lyricist and writer Vennelakanti Rajeswara Prasad took last breath on the 5th of January. He passed away at the age of 62.
According to sources, Vennelakanti died of a cardiac arrest.
Born on the 30th of November 1957, Vennelakanti started his filmy career in 1988.
He wrote lyrics for movie Murali Krishnudu (1988,) Aditya 369 (1991) and One By Two (1993.)
Some of the famous work of Mr. Vennelakanti is Gharana Alludu, Gharana Bullodu, Criminal, Samarasinghareddy, Tokkari Dongar, Vastadu Na Raju and Cheppalani.
He also worked as a dialogue writer for several Tamil films dubbed in Telugu.
He last worked as a lyric writer for the film Penguin last year.
Vennelakanti is survived by two sons, Shashank Vennelakanti and Rakendu Vennelakanti.
