Raavi Kondala Rao, one of the well known writers and actors of Tollywood industry passed away on the 28th of July.
Mr. Rao passed away at the age of 88 due to a cardiac arrest at a private hospital in Hyderabad, Telangana.
Known for his writings and multi talented personalities in Tollywood, Mr. Raavi Kondala Rao entered the entertainment industry in 1958.
His first film was Shobha.
Mr. Rao was originally from East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. However, due to work and Telugu film career, settled in Telangana. Mr. Rao married actress Radha Kumari, who passed away in 2012.
Apart from acting, he was also a director, writer and mimicry artist. He had worked in more than 600 films in his career. Some of such films are Pelli Pustakam, Radha Gopalam and others. Mr. Rao’s last film was 365 Days released in 2015.
Mr. Rao’s final rites are expected to be held on the evening of the 28th of July.
He is survived by Raavi Venkata Shashikumar. Raavi Kondala Rao.
Raavi Kondala Rao’s death is indeed a big loss for the Telugu film industry.
