M. Venkaiah Naidu, the Vice President of India, on the 16th of October, watched the Telugu movie Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which starred Chiranjeevi as the lead.
Chiranjeevi took an appointment with Mr. Naidu and invited him to watch his latest Tollywood movie. Mr. Venkaiah Naidu, along with his family and Chiranjeevi, watched the movie at the former’s residence in Delhi.
Mr. Naidu praised Megastar Chiranjeevi’s acting in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. He also appreciated the direction of Surender Reddy and the role of Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan.
Vice President Naidu took to Twitter and posted a picture with Chiranjeevi with the caption, “Watched the movie – ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’, along with the film’s lead Actor and former Union Minister, Shri Chiranjeevi, in New Delhi today.”
In another tweet, Venkaiah Naidu said, “The movie’s plot was developed based on a rebellion against the British rule led by Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy from Rayalaseema region of #AndhraPradesh. @MeRamCharan #SyRaaNarasimhaReddy.”

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is a biopic based on the life of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, a Telugu freedom fighter in early 1846. The movie was released worldwide on the 2nd of October.
Released in multiple languages, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy earned a profit of more than Rs. 200 crores.
