Hyderabad: As many as four people including a seven-year-old boy were killed on Sunday. Nearly six others were also injured in the landslide.The incident occurred when a boulder broke off from the hill in Sanjeevaiah nagar colony of Thatichetla Palem area in Vizag. The wounded were immediately rushed to a hospital and it is heard that the condition of them is stable.
The deceased were identified as Sri Ram (22), K Suryanarayan (65), K Adinarayana (7) and Adi Lakshmi (55).
According to the Praveen Kumar, GVMC commissioner, the heavy rains on Saturday lead the boulder broke off from the hill. Vizag MP, HRD minister Ganta Srinivas Rao and K Haribabu visited the spot.
