A non governmental organisation (NGO,) on the 4th of July, staged a rally at Erramanzil grounds and demanded death penalty against the accused who allegedly raped a nine month old baby.

Recently, on the 19th of June, Praveen allegedly raped a nine month old baby in Hanamkonda village of Warangal district.

The Warangal Police arrested the accused and started an investigation, following which, it was revealed, he assaulted the victim and raped her.

The members of the NGO protested against the judiciary and the Chief Minister of the State and demanded strict action against Praveen.

They even tried to march to the Camp Office of K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana. However, they could not reach the Camp Office as the police stopped them, due to which, tension prevailed on the Erramanzil road.

The police are trying to control the situation.
