Beijing: As many as 38 were killed and 6 others were injured in a fire accident at nursing home for senior citizens in China’s central Henan province on Monday, according to reports.
According to the reports of news agency, the major fire broke out late on Monday at the privately-owned Kangleyuan rest home in Lushan county.
The reason behind the mishap is yet-to-be investigated. The injured were immediately rushed to the nearby hospital. The rescue operations are still underway.
