Stockholm: Making headlines, a Swedish police officer Mikaela Kellner caught a suspected thief while she was off duty. The police officer was wearing a bikini when the incident took place. A photograph of the cop pinning the thief to the group surfaced on social media and is going viral.
On her Instagram account, she wrote, “My first intervention while wearing a bikini during my 11 years as a police officer.”
The incident took place on Wednesday when Kellner and her three friends were sunbathing in a Stockholm park. A homeless man selling newspapers approached them with the intent of selling them something. Shortly, after he left, one friend noticed her phone was missing. With this, the police officer chased and arrested the thief while wearing a bikini.
She said, “If I had been naked I would have intervened as well.”
