According to Bloomberg Billionaires’ Index, Mr. Musk with a net worth $ 195 billions and tops the list, surpassing Jeff Bezos.
Bloomberg Billionaires’ Index is a ranking of the World’s richest men. It lists 500 wealthiest people on the planet Earth.
From 2017 till the last year, Jeff Bezos, the CEO and founder of Amazon was the richest man in the world.
While the net worth of Mr. Musk is $195 billion (nearly Rs. 14,23,500 crore), Jeff Bezos’ net worth is $185 billion.
The past one year has been exceptional for Musk as his net worth jumped by $150 billion, which was possibly the fastest in history.
In addition, Elon Musk added $17.36 million (Rs. 127 crore) every hour to his wealth over the last one year, which resulted in making him the World’s richest man.
However, the reaction of Elon Musk on being the richest man in the world was ‘strange’
In a tweet posted by Tesla Owners of Silicon, Elon Musk replied “How Strange.”
Responding to the same tweet, Mr. Musk said, “Well, back to work.”
As per a few analysts, Elon Musk may become the first trillionaire on the planet as Tesla shares are likely to rise drastically in coming months and years.
Billionaire investor Chamath Palihapitiya said Tesla’s stock could be worth three times its current valuation, making CEO Elon Musk the first trillionaire.
