Kobe Bryant Passes Away, Twitterati Express Grief With #RIPMamba

Kobe Bryant, a 41 year old National Basketball Association (NBA) player, passed away in a helicopter crash with his daughter Gianna, on the 26th of January.

According to sources, the helicopter was carrying 9 people, including Kobe Bryant, Gianna, John Altobelli, a longtime baseball coach at Orange Coast College, as well as Altobelli’s wife, Keri and daughter Alyssa.

The area where the helicopter crashed was a rough region of Southern California.

According to sources, Kobe Bryant was on his way to coach the Mamba Sports Academy, where he coached his 13 year old daughter’s basketball team, when the crash took place.  The reason behind the crash is still unclear.

The National Transport Safety Board (NTSB) sent its team to the region on the evening of the 26th of January, following which the identities of the people killed in the crash were confirmed.

Kobe Bryant’s fans are sad and flooded Twitter with posts containing #RIPMamba.

It is said to be a black day for the Mamba Sports Academy.

The investigation regarding the helicopter crash is underway and until the investigation is over, the concerned authorities are not allowed to disclose any information.

Celebrities, Twitter users and fans of Kobe Bryant gathered outside the Mamba Sports Academy and lit candles in memory of Kobe Bryant and Gianna.

Kobe Bryant is survived by his wife and his three other daughters.

The bodies of the people killed in the plane crash are yet to be recovered.
