The Union Civil Aviation Minister Dr. Hardeep Singh Puri, the Minister of External Affairs of India Mr. V. Muralidharan and the National Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader R.P. Singh brought 3 swaroops of Shri Guru Granth Sahib from Kabul, Afghanistan.
On the 24th of August, the three copies of the Guru Granth Sahib were flown from Kabul to India, which would be taken by the union ministers and the BJP leader. The Guru Granth Sahib Swaroop was brought to Delhi, in a special Air India flight, operated to rescue people of India, stranded in the Afghanistan Capital, Kabul. In today’s flight, a total of 78 people including 53 Sikhs and Hindus, who are Afghanistan nationals along with 3 swaroop of Guru Granth Sahib were brought back to Delhi, India.
The Union ministers and the BJP leaders carried the Shri Guru Granth Sahib and posted a tweet of the same. In a tweet, Dr. Hardeep Singh Puri said, “Blessed to receive & pay obeisance to three holy Swaroop of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji from Kabul to Delhi a short while ago.”
During the event today morning, the President of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Mr. Majinder Singh Sirsa was also present.
Now, the three Sri Guru Granth Shaibs would be taken in a procession to Guru Arjan Dev Ji Gurdwara in the New Mahavir Nagar area of Delhi.
