Hamza Bin Laden, the son of Osama Bin Laden, the former leader of the terrorist group Al Qaeda, is said to be dead.

The news came to light after a U.S.A., media outlet reported the death on the 31st of July, based on an intelligence report by the U.S.A..

NBC News stated, “Three U.S.A., officials confirmed, they have information about Hamza bin Laden’s death. However, they did not reveal about the details of his death such as date, time and venue.

The New York Times published the report and said according to two U.S.A., officials, Hamza Bin Laden was killed during the last two years in an operation, which also involved the U.S.A.

When asked about the authenticity of the news at the Oval Office, Donald Trump, the President of the U.S.A., gave no reply—neither denying the NBC report nor accepting it as being true.

Trump said, “I don’t want to comment on it.”

According to sources, Hamza was killed before the U.S.A., State Department, in February 2019, announced a reward of 1 million dollars for information regarding where he is.

“The 15th of Osama bin Laden’s 20 children and a son of his third wife, Hamza, thought to be about 30 years old, was “emerging as a leader in the Al-Qaeda franchise,” the State Department said while announcing the reward.

Since 2016, Hamza was releasing videos and messages threatening Americans, calling for attacks on the U.S.A., to take revenge for his father Osama Bin Laden’s death. Special forces of the U.S.A. officials, during a covert operation, killed Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan in May 2011.

The U.S.A., also designated Hamza a global terrorist in January 2017, after he took the Al Qaeda to a new level of terrorism and was called the ‘Crown Prince of Terrorism.’

In one such video, Hamza gave a 21 minute speech and said, “We will continue striking you and targeting you in your country and abroad in response to your oppression of the people of Palestine, Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Somalia and the rest of the Muslim lands that did not survive your oppression.”

The last such threatening message was released in 2018, in which Hamza said he will attack Saudi Arabia, as Saudi Arabia took away his citizenship.

A United Nations Security Council (UNSC) sanctions listing read, “Hamza seeks to grow al Qaeda’s network and use a new phase of terrorist attacks in major Western cities to raise his profile and announce the return of al Qaeda with himself as a new leader.”

However, the news of Hamza Bin Laden’s death is not yet officially announced.

Stay tuned for further updates.
