Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi, the President of the All India Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) once again criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Central Government.
On the 15th of December, Thursday, Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi took a dig at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led Government for the ongoing China-India border issue. He said, “The Modi government has kept the people and the Parliament in the dark. Why is it scared of the truth about China coming out? What is Modi’s interest in hiding the facts about Chinese aggression?”
Highlighting the recent aggression over China and India border, Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi said that the Prime Minister of India has failed. The tweet posted in this regard read, “The Prime Minister has failed in showing political leadership. You are delivering a statement regarding a clash that occurred on December 9. Had the media not reported it, you would not have even talked about it.”
Moreover, to prove that things are under control at the Line of Actual Control (LAC,) the AIMIM President asked PM Modi to take the political party leaders to the site and prove the same. Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi also asked PM Modi what Central Government and Union Defence Ministry did talk in the 15 rounds of conversion with the Chinese officials.
The statements came after Mr. Rajnath Singh, the Union Defence Ministry of India, addressed the Parliament and assured that the Central Government is working to protect the integrity and territory at the LAC.
This is not the first time, Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi lashed out at the Central Government over regional and political issues. In the past also, the AIMIM leader Mr. Owaisi came down heavily on the ruling Government and PM Narendra Modi over communal issues in India.
