In Uttar Pradesh, an absconding Bharatiya Janata Party Kisan Morcha leader Mr. Shrikant Tyagi has been arrested on the 9th of August. The Noida police which registered a case against Mr. Shrikant Tyagi arrested him with his three aides from Meerut.
Notably, Mr. Shrikant Tyagi was registered under several sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC,) including charges of illegal encroachment and abusing a woman at Grand Omaxe complex society in Noida.
What is the matter?
In Uttar Pradesh, a BJP politician Shrikant Tyagi was booked for allegedly assaulting a woman after a spat. On the 5th of August, a spat took place at Grand Omaxe society in Sector-93B, Noida when the woman objected to the plantation of some trees by Shrikant Tyagi. After which, Tyagi abused the woman and also hurled abusive words at her husband with derogatory remarks about her.
Mr. Prashant Kumar, the Additional Director General of Uttar Pradesh Police confirmed the arrest on Tuesday afternoon. Notably, the developments came after police detained Mr. Shrikant Tyagi’s wife for questioning and issued a lookout notice against Shrikant Tyagi.
The Uttar Pradesh Government officials and Noida Police also on the 8th of August, Monday, removed the illegal structures put up by self proclaimed BJP worker Mr. Shrikant Tyagi. The bulldozers ran over the encroached construction outside Tyagi’s ground floor apartment in Noida’s Sector 93B, at the Grand Omaxe Society complex. Furthermore, the police also announced Rs. 25,000 rewards for anyone who would give information about the absconding leader, who allegedly abused a woman recently at the complex in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
