In a major boost to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP,) the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) Himachal Pradesh chief Anandra Singh Notty joined the party on the 4th of May, Wednesday.

Mr. Anandra Singh Notty joined the Arvind Kejriwal led AAP in the presence of Delhi Minister Mr. Satyendar Jain.  The development came as a relief to the AAP, especially after its Himachal Pradesh unit chief Mr. Anup Kesari and AAP General Secretary Mr. Satish Thakur and Una district president Mr. Iqbal Singh had joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP.)

It is to be noted, after winning the Punjab Assembly elections, the AAP is gearing up for elections in Himachal Pradesh.   Furthermore, after joining the AAP, Mr. Anandra Singh Notty said, they got an “effective platform.”  He said, “We have got a very effective platform today.  We hope to work in AAP under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal and Satyendar Jain. We will move ahead to achieve the best for Himachal Pradesh with a vision of education, health, tourism, horticulture, infrastructure, law and order. We will help Himachal Pradesh achieve its potential.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Satyendar Jain said, “The BKU vice president, Himachal Pradesh, Charan Singh Jaildar and others have also joined the AAP.  More than 31 people are joining today in Delhi and around 1,000 people will join in Paonta Sahib.  The announcement will be made soon.  We welcome Anandra Singh Notty into the AAP family.”

Notably, the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections are scheduled to be held later this year.
