Delhi Assembly Budget Session Scheduled To Begin From 8th of March

The Delhi Assembly Budget session is scheduled to begin from the 8th of March. On the 2nd of March, Manish Sisodia, the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi announced the same. 

In a tweet, Manish Sisodia said, during the Delhi Cabinet meeting, the Government decided to conduct a Budget Session. The Delhi Budget session 2021-2022 would begin from the 8th of March and would continue till the 16th of March.

During the budget session, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led Delhi Government would present its budget with a focus on areas of health, education and infrastructure. In addition,water supply and other development schemes would be part of the Budget 2021-2022.

For 2020-2021, the Arvind Kejriwal led AAP Government presented a Rs. 65,000 crores budget.

The 2020-2021 budget was around 10 % more than that in 2019-2020

All the Cabinet ministers and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Delhi would participate in the upcoming Delhi Assembly Budget session.
