On Saturday a Special CBI Court convicted former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav in the Fodder Scam case. Along with Lalu, 15 others were announced guilty as well. The remaining 6 were acquitted of all charges including former Chief Minister Jagannath Mishra.
On the 3rd of January, the quantum of punishment will be announced for the ones accused. The Fodder Scam verdict was given by CBI Judge Shivpal Singh to a packed courtroom. The hearing pertained to the fraudulent withdrawal from the Deoghar Treasury from 1991 to 1994. The accused are guilty of making a withdrawal of more than Rs. 89.27 lakh.
As soon as the verdict was announced Lalu and the other convicts were taken into custody immediately. The first charge sheet was filed on the 27th of October 1997 against 38 people by the CBI. Since then, 11 of the accused passed away, 3 turned approvers and two confessed and were convicted in 2007.
This will be Lalu Prasad’s ninth trip to prison. After being convicted, Lalu went on continuous tweeting mode with poetic tweets in light of this conviction.
Truth can be made to appear as a lie, as ambiguous or a half lie by concerted onslaught of bias driven propaganda. But blurred layer of bias and hatred will still be removed, come what may! In end Truth will win

Had people like Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, Baba Saheb Ambedkar failed in their efforts, history would have treated them as villains. They still are villains for the biased, racist and caste-ist minds. No one should expect any different treatment.
