Lalu Prasad Yadav, the former Railway Minister of India, on the 12th of July, was granted bail in a fodder scam.
Apresh Kumar, the Court of Justice, granted him bail in the fodder scam related to the withdrawal of money from Deogarh treasury.
The Court of Justice also ordered Lalu Prasad Yadav, the President of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD,) to deposit a sum of Rs. 50,000 as security.
As of now, several cases of frauds are filed against Lalu Prasad Yadav. He is also involved in a fraud case of Rs. 950 crores.
Recently, a Court of Bihar sentenced him to jail terms for his involvement in three different cases.
Lalu Prasad Yadav is currently admitted at a Ranchi hospital due to his poor health condition.
