The Reliance Industry Limited Chairman Mukesh Ambani, once again made it on to the list of top 10 richest persons across the globe.
In 2020, Mukesh Ambani fell to 12th position from the previous 10th position for world richest man index. In addition, the 64 year old who was the richest man of Asia was in the second position. In 2020, the net worth of RIL was $76.9 billion (around 5.63 lakh crores,) down from almost $90 billion (approximately Rs 5.52 lakh crores.)
However, this year, the shares of RIL improved bringing him back in both the lists. Besides being top 10 richest man of the world, Mukesh Ambani once again secured the first position as the richest man in Asia. He became the 10th richest person in the world after his total net worth climbed to 83.1 billion dollars.
The share price of Reliance, a large cap company, is Rs. 2,136.90.
In the previous year, RIL also witnessed big investment from Facebook, Silver Lake and others.
