PM Modi To Receive CERAWeek Global Energy And Environment Leadership Award Today

On the 5th of March, Prime Minister Narendra Modi would receive the CERAWeek Global Energy and Environment Leadership Award. 

Founded in 1983, the Cambridge Energy Research Associates Week (CERAweek) Global Energy Award, is an annual affair held in Houston. However, due to the outbreak of the Pandemic Novel Coronavirus, the CERAWeek 2021 is being held virtually. The virtual event started on the 1st of March and would end on the evening of the 5th of March.

The event is scheduled to begin at 7:00 P.M., on the 5th of March, virtually.

Founded by Dr. Daniel Yargin, the CERAWeek Global Energy platform has become the world’s premier energy event. Though the platform started in 1983, the CERAWeek Global Energy and Environment Leadership Award was instituted in 2016.

The information of Prime Minister Narendra Modi receiving the CERAWeek Global Energy and Environment Leadership Award was confirmed by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO.) On the 5th of March, the PMO took to Twitter and said, “PM ⁦@narendramodi⁩ to receive the CERAWeek Global Energy and Environment Leadership Award and deliver keynote address at the CERAWeek 2021 on 5th March.”

Prime Minister Modi would also deliver the keynote address at the CERAWeek 2021.

The CERAWeek Global Energy and Environment Leadership Award recognizes the commitment of leadership towards the future of global energy and environment. The award winner should have qualities of offering solutions and policies for energy access, affordability and environmental stewardship.
