The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its manifesto, Gaurav Sankalp 2018, for the upcoming Rajasthan Assembly elections, on Tuesday.
Vasundhara Raje, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, accompanied by Arun Jaitley, the Finance Minister and Prakash Javed, a Union Minister, unveiled the manifesto.
Before releasing the manifesto, Ms. Raje proudly said, the party fulfilled 95 % of the promises made by the BJP during the last elections held in the year 2013.

During the release of the manifesto, Vasundhara Raje highlighted some of the points of the 2018 manifesto. She assured that 50 lakh jobs will be provided in the private sector in the next 5 years. In addition, Ms. Raje said, in the government sector, at least 30,000 jobs will be given. Vasundhara Raje added, a special allowance of Rs. 5,000 per month will be given to the eligible unemployed youths above the age of 21 years.
The other promises listed in the manifesto are providing the service of an ambulance in all the districts, making yoga centres in all the districts and connecting all the districts to the four laned highway of the State, among many others.
In order to take care of the farmers in the State by facilitating irrigation, the Rajasthan manifesto mentions, the BJP will try to supply water from the Arabian Sea to a few districts of Rajasthan by building an inland port.
The Rajasthan Assembly elections are scheduled on the 7th of December and the results will be announced on the 11th of December.
