Tamil Nadu Board Releases Class 10th Results, 100% Students Passed

On the 10th of August, the Tamil Nadu (TN) Directorate of Government Examination (DGE) announced class 10 results.

Over nine lakh students passed the Secondary School of Leaving Certificate (SSCL) examination.

The students who appeared for the exams could check their results on the official website of the TN DGE, dge.tn.gov.in.

Along with the TNDGE website, the SSLC results would also be available on the TN Result portal — tnresults.nic.in. 

This year, 100% of the students passed the SSCL examinations.

Of the total 9,39,829 students 4,68,070 are girls and 4,71,759 are boys.

 This year 6,235 differently abled candidates also cleared the exams.

Due to the Novel Coronavirus outbreak, the students’ marks were based on their half yearly and quarterly examinations.

The State Government also gave 20% weightage to attendance. 

To check the results of the SSCL examinations:

 candidates need to click on the websites- dge.tn.nic.in, tnresults.nic.in. 

Click on the download result link.

Enter registration number, roll number. 

The results will appear on the screen. One could download it, and take a print out for further reference.
