Rahul Gandhi, President, Congress, and Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, will start campaigning for the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections, next week.
The Congress formed an alliance with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) the Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) and the Communist Party of India (CPI.) Both the parties, the Congress and the TDP, joined hands against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) to win the elections.
Chandrababu Naidu and Rahul Gandhi will be seen campaigning together on the 26th and 28th of November, ahead of the Telangana polls.
After a public meeting by Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, the campaign will be another step to attract voters in favour of the Congress.
The grand alliance of the Congress, the TDP, the TJS and the CPI will be a challenge to the other parties contesting the 119 Assembly seats in the Telangana elections.
The Telangana Assembly elections are scheduled on the 7th of December and the results will be announced on the 11th of December.
