Whizkid Invents ElectroShoe For Women’s Protection

A 17 year old Indian boy decided to do more for women’s safety in India than the government. Siddharth has invented the ElectroShoe that can help women defend themselves from attackers by electrocuting them with the shoe.

The young boy dreams of being an entrepreneur and with the concepts of Physics that he’s learned in school combined with a few additional programming skills he invented the best gift for a woman.

ElectroShoe can give a shock of 0.1 amp electricity to the attacker. The shoe is even smart and will send an alert to the police and the family of the woman who uses the shoe.

Siddharth explained his invention, “The shoe was created using a unique circuit board that uses footsteps to charge itself with the help of a concept called the “piezoelectric effect.” The more the user walks, the more energy is generated and stored in a rechargeable battery.”

The genius kid has also applied for a patent and now is planning to send his product out to the real market.

He was quoted saying, “After the patent is obtained, I plan to approach start up incubators in the city to get a better understanding of how my product will fare in the real market and what changes I have to make to the prototype. I need to focus on the designing of the product in order to make it appealing in a market space.”

The boy thought of this idea after the Nirbhaya incident that occurred in 2012 in Delhi.

He further added, “All a woman needs to do is to ensure that the battery is sufficiently charged. When the shoe makes contact with an attacker’s body, the attacker will be electrocuted.”

Siddharth’s invention is extremely innovative and if the technology is flawless it can be very useful to eradicate one of the social evils of our society.
