The Indian Women’s Cricket Team beat South Africa by 49 runs in the ICC Women’s World Cup in the 2017 Qualifier. The game was filled with excitement with Mithali Raj and Mona Meshram scored a fifty each and Ekta Bisht and Shikha Pandey gave their best in the bowling and fielding. The Indian team has not lost a single match in the tournament so far and qualified in the Super Six qualifiers too. India made a score of 205 and won the match by 49 runs.

The Indian team took up first batting. Mithali Raj made a score of 64 and Mona Meshram made a score of 55. These two led India to 205 with the loss of eight wickets. Mithali Raj and Mona in a partnership made 96 runs. In bowling, Shikha Pandey took four wickets and Ekta Bisht took three wickets. The African team was bowled out by the time they made a score of 156.

The team qualified not only for Super Sic in the ICC Women’s World Cup but also to the ICC Women’s Championship. India has entered the game of eliminators with three wins but with Sri Lanka beating Pakistan and Bangladesh beating Ireland, there is a chance of having five teams instead of Six by the end of the league. India will be facing Bangladesh today in the next match.
