At the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL) auction, Pat Cummins was the most expensive player.
Australian player Pat Cummins became the most expensive overseas player bought at an IPL auction. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) bought him for IPL 2020 for Rs. 15.5 crores.
On the 19th of December, the IPL 2020 auction was held in Kolkata, West Bengal and ended at 9:00 P.M.
Eight teams selected as many as 62 players for the 13th edition of the IPL. While Pat Cummins is the most expensive player, Piyush Chawla was also one of the most expensive Indian players, sold for Rs. 6.75 crores.
